General Motors is suspected to have plans to shut down production lines in factory Corvette Bowling Green Assembly to actually upgrade the facilities.
Although Chevrolet haven't confirmed this news, Corvette Blogger sites claiming the official announcement will come soon. The factory was reportedly will close for several months after production Corvette 2017 model year ends.
Interestingly, the production Vette generation C7 then will start again after the mill repaired and upgraded to a model in 2018 and to produce 700 + Hp ZR1 very awaited. At the end of 2018 model year, Chevrolet will begin to build a mid-engined Corvette C8 in the same factory.
